Ingredients

  • 9 cups Cold water
  • 6 Limes washed and quartered
  • 3/4 - 1 cup Sweetened condensed milk
  • Rum
  • Ice
  • Seltzer

Instructions

  • Directions
  • In a blender, combine cold water and limes. Blend on high until completely smooth, 2-3 minutes. Remove from blender and strain the mixture, pressing on the solids to extract as much lime juice as possible.
  • Transfer mixture to a large pitcher and place in the refrigerator until very cold.
  • When ready to serve, add the condensed milk about 1/4 cup at a time and stir to combine. Taste and adjust as needed.

To assemble:

  • Fill the glass a little over 1/2 full of limemade. Add anywhere to 1-2 ounces of rum and stir briefly to combine. Add ice and top with seltzer water.
  • Because this limeade contains condensed milk, the mixture will curdle. As such, limeamde must be consumed the day it's made.
