Prep Time10 mins
Total Time10 mins
- 9 cups Cold water
- 6 Limes washed and quartered
- 3/4 - 1 cup Sweetened condensed milk
- Rum
- Ice
- Seltzer
Directions
In a blender, combine cold water and limes. Blend on high until completely smooth, 2-3 minutes. Remove from blender and strain the mixture, pressing on the solids to extract as much lime juice as possible.
Transfer mixture to a large pitcher and place in the refrigerator until very cold.
When ready to serve, add the condensed milk about 1/4 cup at a time and stir to combine. Taste and adjust as needed.
To assemble:
Fill the glass a little over 1/2 full of limemade. Add anywhere to 1-2 ounces of rum and stir briefly to combine. Add ice and top with seltzer water.
Because this limeade contains condensed milk, the mixture will curdle. As such, limeamde must be consumed the day it's made.
